For Scottish pop punk check out the murderburgers, they're alright. Kimberly Steaks are another Scottish pop punk band that are no frills self loathing stuff, none of this bullshit pseudo romantic bullshit that bands do to appeal to teen girls.

Honestly we have a pretty decent amateur scene, Lotta hard working jazz and blues groups around, which is exactly what I love. So I can't complain.
