I did see someone link a like 2 hour long interview with Kanye or something a few weeks back and in the middle of it he said that he thought 808's and Yeezus were much better than MBDTF, and that he treated MBDTF as something of an apology record or some other. I forget the details and I don't remember the vid but it's on Youtube somewhere.
