They're just kind of meh?
I listened to them when they first came out and everyone said they were like a more experimental Klaxons or some shit but they were just imitators or ideas guys or whatever you want to call them.
They heard things they thought were good and just put those things in their music. It's cool that they mixed things up a little but that's all they did and they still ended up sounding like a 2000s indie synth band except with some token ideas from nu metal and house.

Ash Ra Temple is cool at times and Klaus Schulze can be fun but honestly unless you maintain a trench coat and actively go to record fairs/shows its just not music for you.
I'm not a fan of long drawn out jams and early electronic stuff so it isn't for me.
Now something like Future Days or Ege Bayamasi, that has a lot of pop sensibility about it and I can dig that. Tago Mago is okay, I'm not a fan of it per se but I guess it's a chill stepping stone.
