I've only ever listened to sleep and electric wizard. Elder played before earthless at a club in Brisbane a while back. They seemed sweet. What festival is this?
And lol at glastonbury, it literally has the line up that pleb fest (splendour/triple j.com) has with a few irrelevant bands added.
The best thing about these fucked festivals is it creates a niche and culture for more awsome bands to tour and hopefully the rise of some alternative festivals. Australia is so far off getting anything decent. Now and then a sweet band comes through. And then gybe finally come back and don't even fucking play Brisbane.

I disagree. I'm a huge LCD fan. Kendrick is good and arcade fire is the kind of band I wouldn't pay to see solo but would like to see. Tickets were like 350. Not horrible just treated myself when I got my tax return.

Tbth I'm banking on them either lowering the price by selling tickets through groupon or something or cancelling or adding to the line up because I don't think it's selling well especially considering they have less than 10k "likes" on Facebook and less than 5k followers on Instagram. Not that that really means anything but it's definitely not selling as well as they anticipated.

It's not really it's pretty average overall. The reason the petition happened was because quite a bit of the regulars are dad rock traditionalists so they didn't want any of this "(c)rap" in their festival bit if you watch his performance the crowd is huge and mostly into it.
