You'll never get a good perspective on Kanye West browsing this shithole. If you look at what he's doing throughout his career, he's been consistently forward thinking. Along with redefining the genre multiple times and now taking the software update approach to his new album, he's pretty much taken the movie director's approach to music. Of course this approach is very unpopular in music, due to the lack of personal expression and so forth but is clearly the future of (mainstream) music. He's forging the way for the rest of the music industry right now, but critics and /mu/ will be eager to write it off as ghostwriting, fraud, laziness, lack of passion, and what have you.
