there was something about this in an interview last year where he said that Teens of Style was just "early songs that might be otherwise overlooked" and that he would revisit other stuff at other times. Because nothing from Nervous Young Man or Twin Fantasy contributed to Teens of Style it seems he plans to revisit them later.

My father died suddenly two days after this album came out.
Never got to say goodbye or the things that needed saying.
For those two days I loved this album, then it happened and I can't even hit play now.

I love the album, its one of the few I call "perfect". It's had such an emotional impact on my life. Not a single weak track on it, when I saw CSH live will was chill and let me have a selfie and signed my teens of style record I bought. I can't get into any of car seat headrests other releases besides the random single interestingly enough.

Those are CD's that matador made when he first got signed. He gave those out wrapped in twine at concerts.
This is honestly a perfect album and it should be considered a classic by now. The only other album that I think is just as perfect is ITAOTS. This album is such an emotional experience, and I can't wait to see the influence it has on future generations.
