Pearl Jam is a great band. Black and Yellow Ledbetter are some of my all time favorites. I wish Eddie had a better tone and pronunciation but musically they are tight.

To me things like Jeremy just never felt cohesive. It's like he's trying to tell a long winded story first and foremost and turned it into a song out of obligation and as a result it doesn't flow that well.
Nirvana is like the opposite to me, their lyrics are absolute dogshit, but it flows nicely with the music
