Does anyone here actually know what "co-writing" in the popular music industry generally entails?
Like I can take a pretty good guess that the only good songs on the new Justin Bieber album that happened to be "co-written" weren't really written by him, but someone must know how much someone needs to contribute or how commonplace ghostwriting and "cowriting" is.

yes, most big popstars are performers, not writers, that doesn't really take anything away from their ability to perform
