yeah it's my first time going through dylan's discog. I've been listening to his pre-electric stuff a lot, today im listening to bringing it all back home, highway 61, and blonde on blonde for the first time
I agree that genre is kind of dumb, but it helps. Most things fit pretty cleanly into one of those, there's only about 10% or so that im not sure about
Idk what to call "rateable". it's for stuff that I've listened to enough times that i feel like I can rate it accurately. usually at least 6 or 7 times. acquainted with is for music ive only listened to once or twice, familiar with is for everything in between. I wish I could think of a better name than Rateable though.

I do it by hand. It's a bit of a pain, but I think of it like, this album is at least 30 minutes long, I'm probably going to listen to it at least a few times. It's worth showing it a bit of love and spending 5 minutes getting the tags in order. Musicbee has a nice "Search Internet For Picture" feature which usually gets you the correct album art. Collaborations are dealt with pretty easily on Musicbee, you can just put Artist A; Artist B in the artist field and it'll appear under both. Mixtapes I treat like regular albums. EP's as well, but suffix their title with 'EP'.

it really depends. sometimes i go into tidal's webpages for certain releases via inspect element and grab the 1280x1280 album art, sometimes i go on fanart.tv (fantastic site btw) for great 1000x1000 art, sometimes i use google's reverse image search and pick out the best quality pic with the best resolution, sometimes i hit to discogs if it's a particularly obscure release, sometimes what.cd has great cover art for shit, it really all depends.

I just know of Kikuchi Momoko Adventure, and there's this one Kpop album with a really citypop feel also there's a ton of city pop vaporwave but Sunshower is the only super jazzy one I know of.

haha, nah dude, i use windows 7. i just like using the old windows 2000 theme because i'm superstitious about it increasing my computer's performance... i also just prefer how it looks.
forever changes is a classic psych album. i highly recommend it if you're interested in buffalo springfield, sgt. pepper's lonely hearts club band, a more talented version of the grateful dead, etc.

Actually I just realised that your graphics card settings program should have a place where you can change the brightness.
However that would be for all times. If you wanted to change it according to the time of day then you'd need to script it somehow, and I wouldn't know how to do that.
