What does /v/ think about the 'misogyny' controversy in hip-hop culture? Are there any feminist rappers out there? Do you know any male rappers trying to avoid 'ho' or 'bitch'?

It's okay when hip-hop does it, because they don't know any better.

Sometimes I think about how a song like "99 Problems" can become so popular that it's basically a part of our culture, like Coca Cola or something, everyone just knows about it and is fine with it. But imagine a white male country singer writing a song with that chorus. He would be crucified...I'm not trying to be racist or something here, I just think it's weird.

Just listen to IVRY and shut the fuck up bitch
Mysogyny is such a bad meme.
Literally every demographic of person has their own special brand of shitty problems.
I never see feminists talk about hip hop culture. I assume they'd be labeled racist or something.

Get.
Out.
I don't get this obsession with "sexist hip-hop culture". It's stupid.
When a rapper, or anyone for that matter, refers to a woman as a bitch or a hoe, they're talking about a specific kind of woman. They're talking about bitches and hoes. They're not talking about "respectable" women, they're not talking about all women. They're talking about bitches and hoes.
It's like a woman calling a man a "fuckboy" or whatever the fuck they say.

>love a feminist bitch, ooh they get my dick hard
