Nah I've never tried them. The Beyerdynamics were my first pair of actual headphones. I've had them for probably 4 or 5 years and never needed any others besides a cheap pair to travel with.

yes they are closed so they isolate well and it doesn't leak much unless you play very loudly

I have them and I'm bored when I listen to music since everything sounds so neutral. I like using my mdr ex650s so much more

I own both. In general the 770 is slightly better sounding but is a slightly higher price. Upside of the M50 is how portable it is: it's fairly small, light and the cups can fold inwards, and with the M50x it comes with multiple, detachable cables. The 770 is really soft and comfortable on the ears, and while the M50 isn't that uncomfortable on the ears, the clamp is kind of tight.

Honestly I think maybe. Less because I like those but more that I don't like the M50. There are better options such as a vintage stax setup that will cost the same. SR Lambdas (original) are awesome and can be had pretty cheaply.

Yeah. If op actually has the original m50 and not the x version I don't see the 770 being much of an upgrade except having even more bass and treble and maybe being more comfortable with the large and soft earpads.

got my dt 770s (250ohm) and a fioo e10k dac/amp for my birthday back in 2014 listen to mainly hip hop and some trap love the ear raping bass when im blazed or tripping
