i'm pretty sure Youngs' work is hit and miss for everyone because a lot of his newer albums are unimaginative and bland - and some are offensively bad (i'm looking at you, Rurtain)
his album with Tirath Singh Nirmala is a different matter
it's one of his ambient/drone collabs (just like the one with Makoto Kawabata)
this time there is some exotic instrumentation and a ritual ambient atmosphere though
