this doesnt really count as post-rock. It is more like post-hardcore/math rock. Still great stuff. If you like some classics Talk Talk is cool

Winter Hymn Country Hymn Secret Hymn is great
China Gate is great
Telegraphs In Negative/Mouths Trapped In Static is great
Can anyone rec me some dark atmospheric stuff akin to F#A#infinity?

>Labradford
>Asunder
>The For Carnation (if I'm in the mood for slowcore)

I'm not a huge fan of Post Rock though. Hex by Bark Psychosis isn't too bad either, but not a favorite

Also, although it's not post rock, I have to recommend Steve Roden.

EITS get shit on way too much on /mu/. I get they're accessible as fuck and loved mainly by plebs or whatever but it's like the people who bash them listen to it expecting Godspeed You! Black Emperor then get mad when it's not.

Those Who Tell The Truth is my favourite I think, I do love TEINACDP about as much though.

Also, while not my overall favourite, I've never heard anything like pic related, and for such a simplistic album, I can't say I've ever gotten bored of it. It's just a perfect album.

Is there a post rock flowchart? I really want to get into this genre but "post-rock" is a really general term, so its hard where to know to start.
So far Ive only listened to GY!BE, Talk Talk, Sigur Ros, Spiderland, and part of SFTB
