Is there anything worse than the tendency to apply a retarded amount of vibrato whilst singing? I swear, it's all but ruined opera for me. Old recordings don't have this issue. Why the fuck do new singers wobble all over the fucking place?

well, it's old Bach, you know? it's probably going to be leaning towards older fashions of Bach interpretation.
i'm not too familiar with Ristenpart. though you can probably be assured that the singing is going to be really good on it.
