That's fucking sweet! How was it like meeting them?

pornography is TC best album

Met them before, they're all very unassuming, sweet people. Do not carry the stereotypical rock ego at all. Talked to them about the Pop Group and Public Image Ltd, my personal favorite post punk groups, for a bit.
My ex still has my Seventeen Seconds and Bloodflowers CD's. I should go kill the bitch.

I was obsessed with The Cure and Robert Smith in my early teens... That is awesome. Lol seems really nice and I still prefer his drumming to Jason's really

Your uncle is a fantastic drummer. Especially the primal drumming on Pornography.
I've always enjoyed them when I've heard them, but this past week I've really started to get into them. They're incredible. I can't believe it took me this long.

Listening to it right now for the first time. Really loving it.

Have you asked him about Disintegration

My ex had my Pornography vinyl. She smashed it and later sent me a pic of it. Fucking bitch.

Yep. Interesting backstory as well with robert wanting to kill himself and always being drunk on high when recording.

>Seventeen Seconds
i'd kill her too
Just listened to pornography, head in the door, Km Km Km and disintegration in a row during a 5 hour car ride.
Disintegration and Pornography are the only albums that feel really consistent to me, the other two are a little all over the place for me. Km Km Km is the most forgettable aside from the really good singles.
I learned Robert Smith's voice can get really grating after a while.

definitely, kind of why I never listen to them for long periods of time anymore.
Seventeen Seconds is one of the best records to come out of the 1980s in my opinion.
