How many times do you listen to an album before you pass judgement on it?
>If the answer is one, please go and pretend to have an interest in music somewhere else

Two or three but unless I find a need to return to an album I'll usually only listen to it once
>>63331290
what do you mean
judgement is a subconscious thing
>he can't tell if he's interested something or not in the first listen
Why would I give something I'm not interested in multiple listens, dipshit OP?
>>63331290
A judgement after one listen is still valid, though I wouldn't have a serious discussion about an album unless I had 3+
i don't even listen to albums i just skip through the previews and delete all the shit tracks first so i'm not wasting any time

OP: "I feel this Katy Perry album may have deeper merits with repeated listenings. I will audition it three moar tiems hurrrrrrrrrrrrr"
>pompous fag is pompous

It's bait m8. Steer clear and swim in safer waters
>Do I like it?
One is just fine for this
>How much do I like it?
At least 2 more depending on the album

only decent people in the thread
So I don't have an interest in music because I judge after one listen? yeah sure
Also, what's the problem? you can always listen to it again and think about it differently and raise the score. (I did that for example with OK Computer)
Yeah, fuck off m8
If I dont really like it I won't listen to it again, but usually I listen to it more than once, until I am satisfied on my opinion of the album. Obviously if I really like it I will listen to it more.

Yes but on occasion you can go from disliking to liking an album through repeated listens. One listen deprives yourself of that happening.
e.g. 'prospekt' by circle bored the living fuck out of me on listen one, clicked on listen 3-4 and now it's one of my favourite albums
If Im not in the right mood for the kind of music im listening to, Ill come back to it but pretty much just this >>63331663
