Over rated pieces of shite they are. New Order is OK though..

Joy Division
Go to youtube right now and search for their album "unknown pleasures". Thank me later, peasant.
>>63314227
I don't think they are over rated. Unknown pleasures is truly a special album.
>>63314014
I listen to nearly all types of music, you stinking waifu weeb
>>63314227
Closer is literally 10/10. It's New Order that are overrated by contrarians like you.
>>63314124
Exactly. The singer hanged himself because he knew his music was loved by anti intellectual degenerates. The sad thing is it didn't have much merit to begin with.
>>63314347
And it matters little because you're still an anti intellectual that listens to rock
>>63314227
They are overrated but that is not the bands fault.
They're not even that influential.
>>63313977
I hope they never do. Joy Division are awful on a special level

You still don't get it. Unsurprising considering how dull witted you appear. You do not listen to certain types of music to be intelligent. It's the fact that when you've become an intellectual certain genres are no longer intellectually stimulating, rock music being one such genre in particular.
I do not expect a hedonistic anti intellectual like you that puts value on the pleasures of the flesh and women in general to understand. I have in fact outgrown rock music. Sometimes I fear my intelligence might grow to become too great and I'll become disassociated with all earthly pleasures and transcend to enlightenment.
Farewell, anti intellectual. May you find the light of consciousness someday

Very edgy. Tip of the morning to you.
You're not intellectual, you're delusionally arrogant and self-important.
What kind of legacy do you think Joy Division would have if it weren't for their backstory? 2bh i've listened through their stuff a few times and i like it but i don't understand the amount of widespread acclaim they get compared to other post-punk and experimental rock groups from the same time period (or earlier). Is it just cause they had some songs accessible enough to blow up in the mainstream? Did they just have really good promoters? They're not even in my top 5 favorite post-punk acts, but maybe i should just keep revisiting them.
