It's not bad, it's actually pretty good.
But when you compare it to feels, sung tongs, spirit, strawberry jam, and mpp it just doesn't live up at all, which is the problem.

It's not THAT bad. It's a mediocre album, not really worth shitting on.
I think it stemmed from it not being as good as Merriweather, but even then, I don't like Merriweather THAT much. Whatever.

I don't get why that track gets so much hate. For one thing, the reggae-ish guitar is really novel for them and a really nice touch. Also, while I understand that it sounds "underdeveloped" to some, it works well in the context of them album in that it provides a breather from all the chaos of the first two tracks. In fact, I think CHz could have used a few more songs like that.

Same with the first half of New Town Burnout. Although I'd maybe push that song a little further back in the tracklisting. Think the back half could use it - I start to get exhausted after Monkey Riches. Would have made a good penultimate song before Amanita.
