This. First Foo fighters album was pretty much Husker Du ripped guitar tones and shoegaze light tunes. At times they remind me of a more accessible bailterspace.

I guess the guitar sound is pretty lush and full, Mike is an under-appreciated guitarist. Not really shoegaze though. Incubus did crossover into a lot of other genres, especially on their earlier albums. For instance, Magic Medicine might just be a straight up trip hop song, and an excellent one at that.
