Im right and you know it
>>63255002
you put it upside down on accident?
>I'm an adult who took the time to listen to and then proceed to rate each Kanye West album
Hahaha grow up dude.
>acceptable tier
MBDTF
>shit tier
Everything else
I'm right and you know it
>>63255019
>yeezus is good meme
swap college dropout with MBDTF
>>63255083
I don't even like yeezus, mbtdf is just his worst album, he even said it himself
Actual Kanye power ranking here
>>63255211
I don't understand
>>63255131
Wrong. Kanye agrees that MBDTF is his best.
>>63255211
This is actually a pretty good chart.
Late Registration will always be his best, MBDTFags get BTFO'd on every street corner.
>>63255002
TCD > Yeezus > Graduation > MBDTF > TLOP > 808s >LR
>>63255131
he didn't say that it was his worst, he just said that it wasn't nearly as iconoclastic as people thought and that more attention should be payed to 808s and Yeezus
>>63255211
>liking LR the most
it's CD with more gloss and less of Kanye's soul (not as in soul genre, but the personality that made CD great)
LR is a good album, and has some of his best songs, but is overall a let-down imho
>>63255211
Swap Pablo and Yeezus and you're cool. Also swap 808's and LR and you're me.
>>63255438
>j dont get why people like mbdtf so much 808s and yeesus were so much better
capcha pick all tricycles
(i bet you pick tricycles all of the time)
CD>MBDTF>LR>TLOP>808s>Yeez
>God tier
MBDTF, Yeezus
>Great tier
The College Dropout, Graduation
>Good tier
The Life of Pablo
>Good but ruined by filler tier
Late Registration
>Decent tier
808s & Heartbreak
CD > 808s > MBDTF > LR > Pablo > Graduation > Yeezus
Yeezus being a strong 7
You know I'm right
>>63255568
this is honestly a really good list
I personally think CD is his best, and MBDTF is only Great Tier, but any list that puts Graduation high and recognizes that LR has way too much filler I can get behind
I don't understand how so many people praise MBDTF but then hate or only feel neutral towards college dropout.
It has the best lyrics, which MBDTF also has great lyrics, and the production is even better.
If it's preference that's fine. But I just don't get it
>>63255573
808's > LR = TCD > MBDTF > TLOP > G > Y
Feeling a strong 4 on Yeezus. It's got ambition but that's about it.
>>63255573
Yeezus is shit m8, even kanye said he could have done more
>Yeezus
>bad
>ever
>>63255438
No he said it was college dropout. Were you even around then when he showed how upset he was that he lost that award
>>63255589
>Graduation high
It's a basic pop rap album. Yeah it's focused but it feels diluted compared to his first 2, with only a handful of tracks that struggle to even reach an 8/10. Easily the worst of the college trilogy IMO.
>>63255654
>Yeezus fans
> death grips and Atari teenage riot denialist
> always
>>63255680
MBDTF is also a basic pop rap album
Follows basic song form and just has interesting samples and catchy hooks
>>63255718
MBDTF has the advantage of retardedly wild emotional excess, though. Graduation is mostly happy Kanye with a little contemplation here and there. MBDTF is a full-on expression of manic depression. It's like a mashup of Graduation and 808's on crack.
>>63255680
you may or may not care, but for me when I listen to Graduation I can hear all of the attention paid to every beat
sure there are a couple songs, like Champion, that are a bit less impressive but as a whole it's very strong
>>63255718
this guy makes a good point
>>63255800
as do you here about it being a cross between those two albums, but "retardedly wild emotional excess" imo is a weak point just in that some people may or may not prefer that
>>63255800
Not really, at least to me. Have you listened to suicide?
This doesn't sound all that emotional besides devil in a new dress, runaway and blame game
fixed
>>63255846
>but "retardedly wild emotional excess" imo is a weak point
Fair enough, I suppose. I'll also concede that Graduation has on average the best beats of any Kanye album. Its tone and lyricism don't do a whole lot for me, though.
>>63255868
Kanye peaks and valleys with reckless abandon on MBDTF. Power and All of the Lights are probably the most obvious examples of that.
fixed
>>63255002
Horrible, awful list
Real list
>mbdtf
>late registration
>college dropout
>yeezus
>TLOP
>808s
>graduation
>>63255083
I firmly believe that Yeezus is his best
>>63256006
Good call. Late Orchestration was incredible.

I can't get into it. Nearly every song has a single element of it that I dig but then everything else just bores me. I like the restlessness he displays on the album and in regards to its creation but I have more respect for the artistic ambition than I do the final product. I only really like New Slaves and Black Skinhead, though I do have respect for On Sight as the album's opener. That was a good choice and it executed its role as opener well, even if I'm not too crazy about the song itself.
TCD > MBDTF > LR > Grad > 808s > TLOP > Yeezus
>>63256098
Yeah, I should probably listen to this. This is pretty damn good.
>>63255906
