I like stuff made by Walter Ruttmann and Oskar Fischinger.
Almost Famous. Stands above in multiple aspects as a film.
High Fidelity
Velvet Goldmine
Scratch
Suspiria

Why, and did you like it?
It'
s honestly one of my favorite documentaries period. Daniel is so sympathetic, and since you can listen to his music, you're given such a deep insight in to him. I didn't like Daniel so much, but 1990 changed my mind of his music. Spirit World Rises is a masterpiece.
Amadeus. That fucking laugh gets me every time.

Did you like looking at girls in high-school? Did you jerk off in school? Did your underpants ever ride up your asscrack and you couldn't wait to get home and whip them off and stand in the mirror admiring yourself?

No, Cusack's character is impossible to relate to or empathize with and his taste in music is so boring.
Velvet Goldmine & I'm not there
