Postmodernism tries to negate any definition given to anything. Well 2bqhwyfamily, I haven't heard it yet. I found out about Swans because of TBK getting memed and when I did some research into them I found out about their progression as a band. I decided I wanted to listen to their music in chronological order. Right now I'm getting into their earlier stuff, Filth -> Public. But since Public Castration is a live album, I want to be acquainted with the studio albums first before I hear it. So I'm listening to Filth -> Holy Money for the 3rd time now, and then I'll listen to to PC. Of the first 4 albums my favorite is Greed.

I started with writing. Then I had a really strong interest in music, but I could never learn what I wanted to play, so I dropped it (they didn't let me play trumpet), then I discovered art film and theatre. Casually, I found /mu/ and look on a /prod/ thread. I started composing like crazy. I wouldn't know how to describe my creative process, but I'm a very mathy person too; I studied Applied Math and Molecular Biology, so there is that.

I started doing that after, on a "how to get into beatles" thread, I saw someone say that they listened to every single beatles album chronologically, and that ending it all with the abbey road medley was one of the best experiences of his life.
