Eh, has its moments, but I don't really think it aged really well
Try The Fragile if TDS doesn't inspire you enough. It's quite more diverse (still can't stand some of the lyrics tho)
Literally all metal bands

This is a really good album senpai, edginess aside

this album is ok, i like a lot of neofolk and stuff and was able to enjoy some of this album even though it isnt in that same genre really but sort of has similar aspects, but i REALLY dont fucking get why it was shilled so hard on this board for a while.

One person dislikes it and somehow thinks she's similar to Evanescence, the rest follow suit. I really liked Abyss, and Apokalypsis is my favorite from her.
One upping OP
>>63243797
Abyss is her best yet.
Although every album excluding Apokalypsis has a terrible album cover imo

Few albums better summarize the spirit of the 1990s than The Downward Spiral (1994). Each song is both a battlefield for the highest possible density of truculent sound effects and a largely-autobiographical ode-psychodrama. The thundering polyrhytms, the chaotic and cacophonous orgies, the grotesque "danse macabres", the chamber blues pieces, the harsh counterpoints, the mournful melodies were carefully assembled to deliver the sense of a man without a past or a present or a future, a man who was a pure abstraction in search of meaning, pure form in search of content.

The cover for Grime and the Glow was the best, I think. Other than that though, you're right.
I don't like describing things as "edgy"...
I will post this album here just because of it's title though
If you're a frenchfag, you're in for maximum edginess
