I found this about 2 years ago. I blindly purchased it for a dollar to see if I could sample it. I was thinking it was a prog metal album after looking at the cover, but it turned out to be a 3-disc jazz album that spans over an hour and a half. I thought it was hilarious how the cover deceived me. This isn't my cup of tea, but I'm sure someone might enjoy this.

Klaus Schulze - Blackdance (1974) (FLAC)
>Ambient, drone, electronic, raga
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWsnqSQxkfY
http://www.mediafire.com/download/jby0heqdl6a7t60/
Underrated work from the master Klaus Schulze. From Cyborg's brooding drones, Blackdance's first track gives us acoustic guitar pluckings and tribal drummings you'd hear from most works of raga. Fuse this with ambient, and you've got a really wonderful combination of sound that's aged surprisingly well compared to his other works from the 70s. First track is definitely a highlight. The second and third tracks are more drone and electronic, and that's not a slur either. The operatic vocals on the third track mixed with light organ elements give it a very spacious and dark sound. They give way to sulking electric pulses that would've seen fit to be on Cyborg.
Contains two bonus tracks, Foreplay and Synthies Have (no) Balls. They're alright.

Walter Wegmüller - Tarot (1973)
>Psychedelic rock, space rock, krautrock, folk, funk, electronic
Walter Wegmüller wasn't a musician himself, but a guru. A mystic, an artist, a very eccentric individual. He apparently had enough gravitas that he attracted some of the big name musicians of Germany at the time to help him arrange a concept album about tarot cards, including members of Ash Ra Tempel Klaus Schulze on drums and keys, Manuel Göttsching on electric guitar along with Hartmut Enke on bass, and an assortment of other keyboardists, guitarists, and drummers. Each track on the double album corresponds with a poem Wegmüller wrote about man and his relation to the world around him. It's truly a cosmic piece of work.
The poem is included as a scan both in German and english.

>German prog rock, space rock, psychedelia, funk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N10cInKBhUI
http://www.mediafire.com/download/lky83r8b7grxvrw/
After three seminal works of the German scene, Amon Duul II began down a path of rather conventional means compared to their first three albums. That's not to say Wolf City doesn't have its merits. Renate Knaup's vocals here are fantastic, and the band plays off her wonderfully in Surrounded By The Stars, easily the best song on the album. Her vocals sadly get pushed away as the album goes on much to its detriment, the band plays nominally here but without a second LP made of improvisations like the previous two albums Amon Duul II did, this just didn't have the impact it SHOULD have had. Still a nice work if you're a fan of the band at all.

>German prog rock, space rock, psychedelia
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhhM85L3mIM
http://www.mediafire.com/download/bi7wcik28bbpgov/
This was recorded at a gig sometime at the end of 1972 to a very fucking enthusiastic crowd which gives this live album that much more knowing everyone was into it. The band plays the rocky hits off of Yeti much to everyone's enjoyment. Some even prefer the live renditions of Eye Shaking King, Archangels Thunderbird, Syntelman's March Of The Roaring 70s, to their studio album equivalents. Fantastic piece of Duul history here.
Interestingly enough, there are the two bonus tracks, which I've never seen many people talk about. It's a mashup of a synthesizer measure from one of the songs off of Tanz Der Lemminge mixed with the Soap Shop Rock suite off of Yeti. As the first track closes in come in bits and pieces of the Marylin Monroe Memorial Church and Chewinggum Telegram. This sounds like random mashing up of their tracks, but it fucking works so well I was so entranced when I first heard these.
serious question: is no one worried about illegal dl bullshit stomping them into the ground?

I don't do mediafire any more because they honeypot. Anyone seen that "this file wasn't intended to be directly accessed; still think we've made a mistake?" message? To think of all the clicks I've given those traitorous cocksuckers.
Due too the recent passing of Keith Emerson, I think it would be appropriate to share Brain Salad Surgery, which is probably ELP's best album. The regular /mu/ response is obviously just disrespectful memes and making fun of his apparent suicide, but I'd like to think /sharethread/ will have greater appreciation. It's the deluxe edition in FLAC too, so it's quite a hefty amount of data. At least pick up the first disc if this is a problem.. Anyways, enjoy.

>American primitivism
American Primitive Guitar is a music genre which was first originated by John Fahey in the late 1950s/early 1960s. Although increasingly confused in recent years, American Primitive Guitar is distinct and different from American Primitivism, which refers to certain painting and sculptural art forms which arose in the 1890s.

I know I posted this before, but I'm still looking for the OST of The Lover's Wind, if you can find it. I know it's a bit of a stretch, but the songs are SO beautiful :(...

And I suggest again that you search گلهاى رنگارنگ on YouTube. I think you'd love the compilations there.
Do you have any santur-themed albums? I'd like to attain an understanding of the radif system.
Thanks for posting your stuff on here. Know there is someone taking advantage of it.

I found his discography.
Want it?
>>63248693
aha I was sure you'd comment my share :) Hi!
about your request, wiki & IMDB both say that Hosein Dehlavi wrote the soundtrack for The Wind's Lovers (originally titled "Le vent des amoureux").. But I doubt the French filming crew used only the score wrote by this guy (I even thought it was some kind of Library Music score but I think i'm wrong); it's probably a mix of original tracks & older un-credited recordings.
ie. check after 13:00 https://youtu.be/w5P9hJZdW4U

what does that mean? "colored flowers"?

>Andy Bean - My Fair Hatey: The Wander Over Yonder Musical
>/co/-core, Spongebob Squarepants The Movie-core
Straight from the musical episode of the show, these are all the songs, performed by Andy Bean and the original characters from Wander Over Yonder. Lord Hater enlists Wander to help him ask Lord Dominator out on a date, and Sylvia, together with Commander Peepers, try to sneak up on Dominator's ship so they can defeat her once and for all. By the time this episode was released Craig McCracken announced the show was cancelled by Disney, which is sad considering the boost of popularity WoY was getting (mostly because of Dominator's inclusion). Apart from that, the songs are amazing, and the show itself is funny as hell, so give them a try boyz, you won't regret it.
