Will there ever be an album as influential to Vaporwave as Floral Shoppe was? Is Vaporwave dead?
yes, people forget about memes eventually

There can't and won't be because even though there is very good vaporwave, Floral Shoppe made it into a meme.
I never understood the praise this album got, it's gotta be one of the most boring and low effort vaporwave projects I've ever heard
this album really sucks
ITT: plebs afraid to like something because its popular

WAT IF BLACK FLAG VAPPORWAVE?

I think it's most popular with listeners who hadn't heard the source material
pic related obviously, also 2814.
Sandtimer's Vaporwave Is Dead might also be, if Hardvapour holds up

>Sandtimer's Vaporwave Is Dead might also be, if Hardvapour holds up
what, you can't tell if it's good or not on your own?
>i gotta wait to see how everyone else feels about it, then i can tell you if it's good or not
fucking /mu/

i like Floral Shoppe but i completely get you, i wish Chuck Person's Eccojams Vol. 1 had this reputation instead of Floral Shoppe, it's way better and it basically created the whole genre and aesthetic
>Oneohtrix Point Never invented Vaporwave
This simple fact is amazingly hilarious

that's not what i meant my man, it's just that i haven't heard anything like it yet so i can't tell if it's influential (which was OP's question)
I have no idea what's the opinion on this one but i personally like it a lot, been listening to it a lot since it came out
