My friends have on average like 10% similar tastes to me. Fortunately most of my favorite artists who currently tour are also a favorite of at least one friend, so I go to plenty of shows with someone else who enjoys the music. Otherwise I go alone, which isn't a big deal, but it's usually not quite as much fun.
