Why does runescape have such based soundtracks?

at one point i had every song on my computer but it's actually like a couple gigs i think
Music was a very indepth part of that game. Also a lot of the oldest music in the game was composed with regards to some kind of limitations on the game engine which lead to some interesting sounding pieces.

Who actually had a premium account? Was it as glorious as I hoped it would be? I remember standing by the gates and watching people go into the premium members world and thinking "that'll be me someday." But it never happened.

Runescape had/has the most incredible soundtracks. Sometimes I listen to songs that remind me of it and I'm whisked away to Falador or the Fishing Guild again.

Not sure if it's still the case now, but you could make so much profit through creating teleport tabs and you could save tons of money through sacrificing bones at your gilded altar.

I just rebooted the game and bought a subscription. I'm having a blast in the new rs. The game is way different, but they do a really good job of making everything optional. (If you don't like the new combat you can easily use the old style, same with graphics, leveling, and everything under the sun). It also has the most consistent development I've ever seen in a game. Every week there's something brand new to do that might only be temporary, and every month there's a new content drop.
They even made a alternate version of the game where literally everywhere is a PvP zone. Like even banks. I seriously recommend giving it another shot, it deserves it.
