Best track on Sunbather?
>>63105890
They're all great. Can't choose one
yeah I wouldnt talk about their new album either
Dream House or Pecan Tree
Any other answer is just contrarian
Dream House is legitimately one of the best openers I've ever heard on an album.
>>63105918
IS IT BLISSFUL?
All of the songs are great. I change my favorite song almost every time I listen to it. However if I had to pick it would probably be The Pecan Tree.

dream house is a great opener but the memes have killed it
i want to dream
its either the title track or pecan tree
>>63105913
this
Dream House is the perfect opener and Pecan Tree is the perfect closer
>>63105944
this or title track desu. they sit the best with me.
I've listened to this album quite a few times - still can't tell the difference between the songs.
>>63105918
agreed. also, this is album has a one of the best openers ever
I don't get the appeal of black metal vocals.
indecipherable guttural garbage.
>>63106572
>sunbather
>guttural
>>63106472
Nah, the opener on Roots Of Earth are better
>>63106572
> gutteral

Hello there reddit

First half of the title track.
The rest of the album is repetitive filler.
Dream House
>>63105890
Dream House + Irresistible (I view it as one track.) or The Pecan Tree.
vertigo tbhF A M
i want to dream
The Pecan Tree is one the best songs ever written desu
It's a shame it fades out (same for 90% of their songs) but it does add a sense of loss and sadness into the mix that otherwise wouldn't be there. Not that the song isn't already sad enough
>>63106572
that is the point, pleb
back to facebook
The Pecan Tree is the best track, the ending is just completely heartbreaking
>>63106472
It's probably one of the best grind tracks ever made
So much packed into a single minute, and it never drops off in power. The first three tracks on that album are all really powerful and intense, shame it sort of drops off around High Fells
the first half of the title track is 10/10 tho

haha remember that epic meme guys
>>63105890
pecan tree, that ending riff gets me diamonds
>>63105890
>tfw all the boring filler on the album ruins it for me
Roads to Judah is much better
It is very strange for me that so many people says Pecan Tree is best. It's a very good song, but I think Vertigo is better with that dizzy intro and overwhelming ending
Kek'd
So /mu/ officially hates this album or its good?
>>63106572
any other vocal just wouldn't work with the music tho
>>63107615
Dream House for me. Those drums in the first half are amazing, the guitars are so warm, and it's one of Clarke's strongest performances vocally and lyrically to date, maybe only From the Kettle Onto the Coil and Brought to the Water are better.
>>63107078
Underrated for sure
Vertigo is best without doubt. The interlude when the intensity grows down and then explodes with blast beats could be the best armonically resolved section in the whole album

Grabbed my Sunbather CD to look at it because I really like the cover, and I just noticed something. The case is a tri-fold design to imitate one of those metal reflector things that people use when they're sunbathing.
easily vertigo no question
