Please, show me proof that Kanye actually USED The Pirate Bay and DOWNLOADED a copy of Serum. There isn't any.
These allegations are only stemming from Kanye's picture on Twitter. The tabs are sitting literally right next to each other in contrast to the other tabs open. You don't think he planted that bait and included it in the picture for everyone AND Joel to see? Kanye wanted him to put 2 and 2 together.
All Joel had to do was respond. Then Kanye had the opportunity to try out 10+ tweets his team cooked up (Kanye doesn't write his own tweets most of the time, if you haven't known by now).
Nobody would expect Kanye to be doing this on purpose because it's Kanye. Plus, Kanye earns headlines from every major and minor news outlet just from his tweets alone! A clever disguise and a worldwide audience? No one troll should have all that power.
TL; DR: Kanye can do a better job at trolling than Deadmau5 ever could.

It's Mike Dean's laptop. The youtube was logged into Mike Dean's account, and Mike Dean was probably the one torrenting the software.
deadmau5 is a shitload more talented than Kanye could ever dream of being. Hell Strobe by itself is an achievement that smashes Kanye's entire catalog.
