ITT: albums that people who haven't done LSD will never understand
L
>implying
I don't need drugs, I AM drugs. My brain produces so much DMT I am always high.
>>62587391
Why do you need to dose yourself to enjoy sounds?
>I need drugs to get into extremely entry-level music
Cool
>>62587530
i can't make you understand without dosing you.
>>62587423
holy fuck that is the most beatiful album cover I have ever seen
>>62587391
shut the fuck up
>>62587539
>calling an album he doesn't understand "entry-level"
that's hilariously sad

No, I meant this

I posted it mostly because of the first song. All the sounds become so awesome when you're trippy enough to discern them all and sperate them in your head.
An excellent album in its own right, but the LSD really puts you in the mindset of the time that it was made.
actually its this shit
>inb4 not an album
>>62589521
I think you mean this
Listening to this album on LSD, I could finally understand the subtle coolness of the American Negro spirit.
>>62589627
Fuck off with that meme garbage. You wouldn't have that opinion if you actually listened Love- Forever Changes.

>>62589358
huh, I've never actually even thought about Pet Sounds with LSD before
>>62589603
>those track names
>>62589733
I've heard it and I think it's the best example of psych folk, but Sgt pepper gives you a better idea of what people felt like then
>>62587391
any
>>62589776
Kinda weird since it played a central role of the albums creation and what helped psych artists do later...
I know its meme, but this.
>>62587391
I enjoyed this albums after when and before psychedelics, don't be that edgy
>>62589808
>but Sgt pepper gives you a better idea of what people felt like then
Forever Changes is like the time capsule of 1967. No other album so accurately conveys the ecstasy and impending doom of the Summer of Love. No other song encapsulates the era better than You Set the Scene.

A day in the life gives you the impending doom idea too just way better
>>62587539
You're kidding right? Or are you just the master patrician
>>62587391
I've never done any psychedelic drugs and that's one of my favorite albums
>>62590082
It's almost certainly more enjoyable, but I think I understand a lot without listening on drugs once so far. Not to say that I won't in the future, it's just they aren't necessary in this case.
>>62588680
My dad likes that album. Kill yourself.
>>62591618
who the fuck cares what your dad likes?
>>62590317
not him, but you're kidding right? i went to a butthole surfers show at 13.
>>62589669
Grant greens awesome. Jazz of any nature is great on drugs because of how unexpected the music can change.
>>62591798
What does that have to do with anything. I went at age 13 in Houston when they played. Why are you saying it like that is something to claim as your true patrician ship. Get over yourself
>>62592522
>what does that have to do with anything
i'm pointing out that butthole surfers aren't patrician or hard to get into. they're just a basic fucking rock band. and this conversation was tired before it began.

>>62591618
fuck your dad
>>62594485
Just a rock band... gtfo
>>62594551
no, all those albums are beautiful. Lsd trip are never so conventionally blissful
Butthole Surfers is a better example of the weirdness, abject horror, and sensual lust of locking yourself in the bathroom with the lights out while your best friend bangs on the door, confessing his love for you, and you're scared to unlock it cause you're not sure if his feeling are real or if it's the acid talking.
>>62589914
yeah I definitely get its influence with psychedelic music but as an actual album to trip to in a modern context I just don't see a lot there that would make it a definitive album to listen to while tripping.
>>62591783
fuck off retard
>>62595817
well you cant really say that unless youve tripped at put it on
from my own personal experience, songs like lets go away for awhile were stellar on acid
the whole album is about introspection, its the perfect trip record
yall some damn bozos
