They're both great in their own regards.
Kendrick is obviously a better rapper and TPAB showcases that coupled with a cohesive concept.
Kanye is pushing the limits of what hip hop can be and his production is better than anyone in the game.
Overall I'd say I prefer TLOP just because its more ambitious.

TLOP feels like a mess of singles. I Love Kanye literally is a bad attempt at a spoken word piece that makes no sense in its timing. Facts is garbage, though the version on this is better than the original mix. Also many of his attempts at different styles on this album feel really boring. The production is sick but if we are comparing TLOP with TPAB, they are both pretty even, even though I personally like TPAB's instrumentals.
Also, on a side note, even though I'm sure other people have said this. The TLOP album cover is literally so thoughtless, it looks like some edgy indie producer's soundcloud picture.
