As a first listen, and my first *new* Anco experience, it was a pretty crazy listen. Will take at least 2 more listens but for now this seems really promising. The production is back to Modern anco clarity and while in the samples the rocketting was kind of distracting, the percussion more than makes up for it

Most of their albums are hit or miss for me for that exact reason.
MPP, even though I rated it 10/10, has weak tracks for me in Taste, Guys Eyes, (both 8/10 instead of 10/10 tracks) and No More Runnin (6/10). If every track was a manic pop masterpiece it'd be even better for me, but MPP's best tracks are SO good that I don't even care about consistency because the good stuff makes the album in my top 3 of all time just on their own. (Apparently because of this opinion I'm gonna love PW? Waiting for HQ release though)
Feels has The Purple Bottle, Grass, Did You See the Words, and Banshee Beat with everything else being... worse for me. It's like two different albums for me.

not really. i mean, what headphones are you using? sounds like it's being recorded through my grandmother's hand-sewed quilt. the bass is imperceptible, which is pretty valuable to the album considering it's essentially a dance record.
