I'm not memeing. I don't like the album. It's boring and repetitive. The water sound effects are off putting and the melody is simplistic. It's calming but that's about it. Good for falling asleep to but not a lot of substance musically.

I asked for a dream pop album and like 6 people recommend this and said "its a 10/10 his voice is a gift from heaven its pure beauty and humanistic god gift" or some copypasta bullshit. I listened to it because people called it dream pop and were recommending it so I assumed I would be getting a dream pop record. It wasn't, and it wasn't a good album.

Fun fact: Long Season has been a meme since release.
"Season" was a popular single. "Long Season" is a piss-take long version of it with a shitload of padding. It's a fun novelty in Japan, but the actual popular albums are Kuchu Camp and UNS. If you said your favorite Fishmans album was Long Season there, they would think you're crazy.
I was expecting deep ambience, well compassed IDM-influenced sounds and a wide embrace of sounds. It turned out to be more like the cliché background of a shitty fantasy roleplay game with no emotion.
You're losing your time listening to this huge pile of crap when there are composers like Bruckner, Debussy, Mahler and Berlioz.
