This band, to me, is the future of metal. Metal has been held back the last 20 years by cookie monster vocals. A popular metal magazine (can't remember which) said that doom and instrumental metal was the way forward. I feel like the way forward is a return to higher pitched, clean vocals, like Dream Theater, Maiden, and Sabbath.

Its been masks the entire time, until now.
I believe that it was all part of their act. Its the same singer on every album. The mask doesn't cover his ears. Every singer has the same ears. His right ear has noticeable "damage".
He doesnt wear a mask anymore, just facepaint. And the pope hat was part of the mask. I think it was due to not being able to sing properly live while having the masks.
I just discovered Ghost and i like them.
This from a guy that listens to almost anything. Fleetwood Mac to Elton John to Hee Haw, Kiss, Pantera, anything 80's. Type 0, Dream Theater, Rush. Mushroomhead.
