I don't have a name but I am working on an album that ties together without a clear genre, but I would say it is Lo Fi.
Making a name is hard because it needs to be rememorable but at the same tie together many themes.
I'm working on a 13 song folk punk pop thing.
Hopefully i'll hire a house in the mountains and record it there by myself.

Stanley. It's a concept album about a loser high school kid named Stanley who tries entering his school's music competition with his shitty generic pop punk band. I've not got much written so far, but I've got the story progression more or less mapped out. I'm planning it to be somewhere around 20 tracks long

its not like i just make random songs. if im going to make an album, i know what sound i am going for and i only flesh out ideas that i like and that fit the album. 3-5 tracks are scrapped usually and the rest are deemed good enough to be on the album. here, just listen to the albums and tell me if they need more quality control. to me, all the songs are worthy of being on the albums, even if some parts of some songs are less favorable to me than others.

i dont know what to tell you man. my top priority is exploring music, not quality control. i have only been making music 6 years. if you sit down and actually listen to either of those albums in their entirety, i think you will have an enjoyable time, even if there are rough spots.

Slumberparty. It's going to be 12 tracks of really melodic noise and powerpop with a couple instrumental tracks composed of mostly random noise from anime cult propoganda and commercials from the 90's i want it to be incredibly soothing in a chaotic way.
I would describe the sound right now as a mix between The pains of being pure at heart s/t,Dsco by sweet trip and Nail by Foetus.
It's happening at an extremely slow pace because the lead singer besides myself( a large black man) is attending school a few cities away and we can't seem to put the whole thing together.
