It felt lazy to me desu. I mean My Book of Regrets has the main riff from PT's Time Flies, which was p much taken from Floyd's Dogs in the first place. The interlude tracks are alrightish, nothing that warrants being released or taking up about 10min on a sub-40min EP. the riff on Vermillioncore is pretty standard but I do like how it progresses, and I was HEAVILY disappointed with the rework of Don't Hate Me. it's totally sterile now :/

those were one of my main gripes with it desu. I understand that Steven would rather have something else sing the higher part he was straining to reach on Stupid Dream, but that intonation was what drove the song emotionally, considering how pathetic that line is. The girl on the new version sounds completely emotionless.
