I would love to get into more metal, but it's usually too "depressive" or exhausting to listen to, so I listen to something else after just a few minutes.
I had all of those in my backlog save for Ad Nauseum, haven't heard them all yet though. Will try with Deathspell in a few hours though.
Listen to Butthole Surfers or Pan Sonic's Kesto if you haven't. Maybe Igorrr too.

I would recommend maybe starting with Ved Buen Ende's Written in Waters or maudlin of the Well's Bath first instead of DsO if it does get exhausting to listen to. But again, you got TMR there; you got Yowie there I feel that you should be able to handle it either way.

>Swans help
Well, what do you need help with? With them go:

Swans EP
Filth
Cop
Young God EP
Greed
Holy Money
Public Castration Is A Good Idea (Live)
Children Of God
White Light From The Mouth Of Infinity
The Great Annihilator
Soundtracks For The Blind
Swans Are Dead (Live)
The Seer
To Be Kind

These are the essentials definitely worth going through. Very fun journey of different sounds and styles.

Burning World, Love Of Life, Body To Body Job To Job, and My Father are all optional but worth checking out once you love the band.

With The Angels Of Light you wanna check out How I Loved You then New Mother.

None of Gira's solo stuff is too consistent but this song though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeNc4tI5km8

With Jarboe you wanna check out Sacrificial Cake and Mahakali.

Don't bother with The Body Lovers/The Body Haters and World Of Skin until you have done all this and still want more Gira/Jarboe.
