OP here. I don't use music as a fashion accessory, I hardly ever express my music taste because my irl friends aren't interested. I'm only really making this thread because internet culture is confusing and I legitimately can't tell how popular anything is anymore. This is especially since radio feels more and more irrelevant and different online communities of people become more and more mixed, sharing things with each other in a way I can't fully understand. Everything feels more connected and jumbled up at the same time. I use meme words like "normie" because it makes me laugh.
