What do you guys think of gothic rock, or gothy post-punk?
Also, have you ever had a goth phase?
I'll start, I love it, and briefly in grade 9 I did.

I heard juju last night for the first time. I loved it.
I also really like bauhaus the cure and joy division

I listen more to gothic metal like Type O Negative and Paradise Lost, but gothic rock is great too

Listening to Juju right now, it really is a high caliber album. One of a kind.
Have you ever checked out the Sisters of Mercy or Christian Death?
God-tier goth rock incoming.

I love halloween and monitor
Ive heard a few sisters of mercy songs. Never listened to christen death.
I've never had a goth phase but the music has always been up high in my favorites. Joy Division, Bauhaus, Siouxsie, the Cure, Christian Death, all that shit is great. And goth metal like Type O Negative is amazing.
I'm actually going to see the Cure in May.

This is probably Christian Death's magnum opus, I hold it in very high esteem.
Hope you enjoy it

It's funny, I love metal and I love goth rock, but I've never really liked gothic metal for some reason.
I may be seeing them when they come to Montreal in June I think.
Shit's gonna be so cash.

Gothic metal is hardly related to goth rock. There's absolutely no punk influence in goth metal, it mostly takes influence from gothic literature/etc stuff like that. goth rock is more punk rock with a darker attitude.

Yeah fair enough it's just the imagery that's traditionally gothic
