Elliott Smith is generally considered to be pretty amazing. Personally I think S/T is slightly better, but I find myself going back to Either/Or more often. Probably because it's less dire and oppressing, and more varied and catchy, I guess. Still, I don't think any of his stuff is sub par. Even Figure 8, which is poppy as hell, is still pretty great for what it is.
