Does /mu/ still buy CDs? I have about 1500 CDs in my personal collection
I bought Blackstar and Computer World just the other day. So yea, people still buy them.
if i run into them at a flea market or a thrift shop while hunting for vinyl records, yea
i dont go out of my way to order them though
I still buy them, i bought like 15 cds in 3 years, but because i'm a poorfag who spend a shitload of money on too much things, i bought the last one 1 month ago.

Yes, but only when I really like the band
only when LP is not available and I want to support the band

Buying cheap CDs of unknown stuff is great, found a lot of good stuff that way.
Yup, got several hundred still.
I like collecting and also keep them for archival purposes since I've lost several albums in HD crashes that I could no longer find on the internet, either at all or in decent bitrates.
i haven't bought more than a handful in the past 5 years, but I have a shitload from still from when I was buying them. Probably around 350
Yes. I buy more CDs than LPs, having a physical high quality copy of music I like is important to me. Car only has a CD player too but I've been collecting CDs way longer than I've had it. I buy vinyl presses when they have better mastering

Still pick them up from time to time, have over 100 myself
I still buy them. Along with vinyl, and tapes only from small shows. I love collecting physical music.
every Saturday I would hit up all the thrift stores and used CD stores, I used to deliver pizzas for a few years so I got sick of music in general so I would basically buy every obscure cd I could find, or just ones I recognized from here or from friends. I got some very good and very very bad albums out of it. I would still do that if I lived in a city.
I don't collect vinyl but I collect CDs
