I need to talk about this
>>61814096
it's good. not HOOM good or Ys good, but still well above most shit released nowadays.
>>61814096
okay. shoot
It's excellent, not on par with HOOM or Ys but still phenomenal.
It's a comedy record isn't it?
>>61814096
Go on then.
It's a piss take? A laugh? A vanity project? It's not serious is it?
Has anybody else on earth bought it? but me.
am I insulted?
what is going on?
I personally love this album. My album of the year (2015) is either this or that Leprous one.
>>61814261
I have it on CD
>>61814096
I think this is Joanna's catchiest record to date, and it's not a bad thing
>>61814357
Does she always sing in this manner?
>>61814165
>>61814126
These are correct. I was almost disappointed with this album because it was missing many of the components that I loved from Ys and HOOM, but once I stripped my expectations for similarity away and started finding the individual merits this record has, I had a much better experience. I'm glad she doesn't do the same thing on every record, even when nay-sayers think that she does.
This means that there are reasons to go back to every album, which is something many artists cannot accomplish.
Urbanites BTFO: The album
>>61814378
her voice used to be squeakier :P
>>61814378
I hope this isn't the first album of hers that you listened to. I rarely care about listening to an artist in chronological order, but the progression of JN's songwriting, composition, and vocal cadence is honestly as enamoring as the music itself.
I don't believe that it is sincere though.
>>61814387
what is this even supposed to mean?
>>61814387
Eh?
>>61814357
Definitely the catchiest so far. Possibly a marketing push to get some more accessible music out there, going on a few talk shows ETC before perhaps going back into some more oddities in whatever album comes next.
yeah, catchy. Who did she know?
>>61814096
I don't get it though. To me, it just sounded really noisy and unorganized.
Maybe it just isn't my cup of tea. Anybody wanna shed some light on it?
>inb4 2deep4u
>Women should be punched
>>61814619
Wait what? How does this seem unorganized or noisy at all?
It's literally just harp with a backing orchestra.
Nothing about it is unorganized or noisy, it's fairly straightforward as an album even though there was a lot of effort and work put into composition.
>>61814972
>mfw I realized I just got an EXTREMELY bad rip of it and since i had no idea what to expect, I thought it was supposed to be a noise album
holy shit I feel so fucking embarrassed now.
I'm gonna go listen to it right now
>>61814126
It's better than Ys you cum gargling pleb.
>>61815045
Hahaha what the fuck? Link to the rip so I can see how bad it is. I'm really curious.
>>61815045
>>61815054
Definitely want to hear this. At least stick something up on soundcloud or youtube or something.
>>61815045
get it here http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5102699
this is legit and I think all the copies in the archive are not.
and yeah, my first listen had the DJ Aaron Ellis shit in it, there's no reason to be embarassed
>>61815103
First time I tried to download Divers I got DJ Aaron Ellis. Went to soulseek to get a legit copy and ended up with relabelled ITAOTS tracks. I got memed hard.
>>61815054
>>61815081
>>61815103
Okay I'm uploading right now since I just snagged it from the archive. (Apparently there was a meme of people posting the wrong leak I never realized jej)
Anyways, yeah I'll get it from there. Cheers anon
>I don't like this place
>>61815192
are you ok anon?
>>61815223
it's not right, this album is clearly satirical and only brought about through nepotism and cultural cronies looking out for each other. I think she did a bad thing.
>>61815054
>>61815081
>>61815103
sorry for the delay, this is the exact album I downloaded. I was relatively confused obviously, since everything matches up.

weird shit
>>61815404
Holy shit, this is a great day. A glorious day!
>>61815404
What even is this? Who made it?
>>61815490
>>61815522
Who fucking knows? I remember I was back home a couple of weeks ago (more like a month), so I just punched it into the archive and picked the first link I found since I knew a lot of people were talking about it.
Sat through half of it trying to 'get' it and I just didn't. The anon who is responsible for this is an absolute madman
>>61815046
>cum gargling
>as an insult
>>61815569
Nice 69's, also lmao
>>61815045
>>61815132
>>61815404
>>61815569
what the fuck is this shit? I remember a lot of people DLing a copy of the album that had random interruptions saying DJ Aaron Ellis/David Byrne quotes and a shitty transcode, but this shit is insane
>>61815924
