What do you think of /mu/?
Boobies
It is a loathsome, offensive brute, and yet I can't look away.

Would have been the GOAT if he had only taken music seriously
>>61799093
He took music very seriously, he just made bad music.
- exceptionally talented guitarist
- pioneer of studio techniques
- wrote fantastic songs across genres (rock, jazz, classical, psychedelic, doo-wop, reggae) and blended them seamlessly
- Scaruffi and Fantano love him
- had a racial integrated band during the civil rights era
You'd be hard pressed to find somebody with a more consistent stretch of quality/quantity of albums than Zappa from 1966-1979.
>>61799308
You mean 1966-1975.
>>61799308
agree with everything there but
>Scaruffi and Fantano love him
why the fuck does that matter?
>>61799336
>not liking Sheik Yerbouti
Better than Beatles
>>61799354
Scaruffi is a good critic, despite its flaws. As for Fantano? I don't know.
>>61799354
>not valuing the opinions of our overlord patricians
>>61799336
No, I mean 1979 because that way you get to include Joe's Garage, Sleep Dirt and Sheik. To be fair, his output slowed after 75 anyway.
>>61799388
>despite its flaws
You don't even see him as a human?
>>61799354
I included it because I'm trying to appeal to the kiddos on /mu/ and get them to listen to good music. You know, the kiddos who care about what other people think.
