I feel like Voodoo has more standout tracks but Black Messiah is more consistent as an album, every song on Black Messiah is outstanding imo except 1000 Deaths. Ain't That Easy is the best song of his career.

That track is fucking great.
I would agree that Ain't That Easy is one of his best songs ever (I'd personally say his second) and is one hell of a way to open up a comeback record.
It's pleb I know but I think Untitled is still my favorite D'Angelo track. The fact its near the end of Voodoo just makes it so much better, I don't know why.
