That's a great album OP, but if it's you're favorite punk album you're not really much of a punk
>pic kinda related, one of my many favorites
recently became one of my faves
>>61767363
yeah i know the dead milkmen is not that punk-y band even. i used to listen more hardcore punk put recently gotten into this mellow type shit.
you have any recs for me ? like similar to the dead milkmen or minutemen or something
>>61767387
good 'un
great fucking album op, what are some albums that have the same vibes?
>>61767410
>similar to the dead milkmen or minutemen
I was actually a punk in the late 80s and I knew kids that would kinda be on the fringes of the punk scene and cite these bands as their favorites - my friends and I kinda laughed at them for not being as punk as fuck as we were (i was a teen, shut up, it's cringey but true) but were never dicks because they usually had beer money ( but didn't drink much) and a car (and license and insurance!)
Anyhow, check out The Rezillos, they are fun as fuck and hard not like
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8hDw6mS2pI
and Angry Samoans who are also funny as fuck but a little harder edged
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIg85Oi29eE
oh and also Vandals
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LU69VlwY9g8
also it seems like you'd like Descendants, Adolescents, Bad Religion - but they're not my cup of tea so get some reccs from someone else
>pic most likely unrelated to yuor tastes, but very related to mine
Here's an old but good introduction chart
Fucking glorious album

>tfw too old, too employed, too living in small upper plains oilfield town to wear crust pants any more
Should I sell my old pair to some oogle on ebay? I still have them, and the last time they were washed the twin towers were still a thing
I'll checking out some of these bands, nice
>>61768604
love these too man, proud to be a finn.
>>61768743
how old you dude, like, 40? i think you should rock your crust pants the first thing at work on monday and check reactions..
>>61768743
my friend, i am a young lil 20 summin. i wear my crust pants to work. only time not able is if weather prohibits it.
id rather see you donate them pants to a collector or somthing then see oogle scum in possession of such.
post pics, post fit.
>>61768763
you should be proud!
>>61768873
I work in the oilfield and so I gotta wear Fire Resistant overalls at work, but they get crusty as fuck (as do whatever I wear under them) within a few hours at work.
Seriously, I knew a guy who would smear black acyrlic paint on his new skinny jeans to get that unwashed for a year look - if only he knew how quick diesel/saltwater drilling mud will do the same thing
>pic related is co-worker
>>61768903
cba to posy pics, I gonna go to the bar soon, but I got two pairs, one with crusty illegible band patchs, and one thats predominately patched with leopard print and rubber cut from motorcycle inner tubes
size is 32 x 32 I think
>>61769137
i see you work with MC Ride, how cool is that! no but seriously, that's one dirty ass job you got there mate
>inb4 not real punk
You're just mad because they did it better and got rich off their music and your favorite "fuck le system" band didn't.
>>61769137
theres a thread in fa if you come on later, ive posted some personal pics as well ;)
>>>No.10838506
>>61769345
You're a faggot
>>61769345

>>61769368
Thanks for proving my point :)
>>61768604
Cimex is GOAT punk
>>61769431
anti cimex are a personal favorite of mine, their early albums and EPs= classic
later nineties albums= bangers
not many 80s punk bands cant pull that off, most lose edge and sound like shit into the nineties and 2000s
personally i think absolute country of sweden is one of thier most solid albums
>>61769537
Scandinavian Jawbreaker is probably my favourite, I have the Svart records repress off all of their studio albums, comes with a bit of commentary on how the albums were developed and worked with.

thank you for these. great to see Sacrilege on that second chart, i love them. have you heard Death Evocation's self-titled 7"? sounds quite similar to Sacrilege but for some reason it's probably my favorite crust release ever
do you have others?
Crass - Feeding of the 5000
>>61769666
sacrilege is def underrated, especially for crust crossover with female vocals, listening to death evocation now as i have not heard it before,
if you mean more charts then unfortunately no, i made these for the last rounds of punk threads, was thinking about making a japcore one and a american punk charts of my own liking.
you need some specific recs?
>>61769666
def sounds alot like sacrilege, def diggin it man, thanks, do you know when Death Evocation S/T was released?
>>61767279

will do, sir!
>>61769818
discogs says 2011. http://www.discogs.com/master/view/369653
no idea why they haven't released anything else. the quality of songwriting, playing, and band chemistry is waaaaaayyyy too good for a demo
