and this is coming from someone who actually likes him and reads the site
once you read a lot of reviews you start to see he uses the same terms/phrases over and over- Dante-esque, nuclear holocaust, apocalypse, bacchanal, etc. You can see he has a flowery but very mechanical way of writing about music.
