Q: Do I rate singles?
A: I try not to rate singles, I feel as if it inflates my rating system because there are more songs that I feel can be rated higher than the album it is on.
Q: Do I Rate EPs?
A: Yes, I love shorter albums, so EPs are a great thing to listen to when I have a limited amount of time.
5 stars:= 10.0 albums. These albums are personal favorites and albums I see as perfect regardless of any flaw that they may have. These can also be seen as genre definers.
4.5 stars= Amazing albums that are near perfect. These albums are solid throughout and contain little to no holes in them.
4.0 stars= Excellent albums that are worthy of much praise. Solid throughout but there are some songs that may not click with me perfectly.
3.5 stars= Great albums. These albums are worthy of much praise and contain mostly all good songs. There may be some low spots however.
3.0 Stars= Good albums. These albums are "OK" and are worthy of some praise but have holes in them that may not leave me a good impression. Some of these albums may not be that memorable either.
2.5 Stars= Mediocre albums: These albums have some high points in them, but for the most part they are a mixed back and may not click with me very well. Some songs on these albums are simply not good or out of place.
2.0 Stars= Negative albums: These albums have many holes in them and don't hold much water. They are mostly forgettable and may contain songs that are simply bad. There is 1 or 2 good songs on these albums possibly though.
1.5 stars= Bad albums: Albums that have many issues with them and I don't want to listen to again.

The split really surprised me. Kevin's side blew me away, some of his best material right there.
I guess the problem with his drone albums is that he makes so many of them and that they're quite similar. Anyway, I still like them. I really enjoyed The Sea Wins from last year. Trouble was great too, but all of his non-bandcamp stuff is.

Might be my favorite from what I've listened, still hesitating with Absence. Gutter Tactics is all right, but I'm getting sick of Dalek always sounding the same. Oktopus is an amazing producer, and he certainly could have a solo carrer if he wanted, and he is the most interesting thing in the duo for sure.
