Awful crescendocore trash
>hurr durr lets just rip off LYSF and dumb it down without even realizing what makes it good

They're not offensively bad or anything, but as far as Post-Rock goes they're quite bland.

Not bad stuff to put on if you're planning to just chill out while doing stuff like browse /mu/ though.

>post-rock is shit-tier rock
it's a good contender for the best sub-genre
>>
>>61623952
Name 1 type of rock music that's better than postrock? Protip you can't.

Being the best shit is still shit

krautrock
post-punk
noise rock

I agree, they're OK, but defenitly blander than other post rock bands. A bit like EITS, not bad, but not the best.

>good

It's shit.

People shit on them for being "generic, third-wave crescendo-core" (though the opinions of the people who use the latter two terms for anything are not worth the slightest to be honest), but their first album really stands out for me due to the mix of post-rock with that atmospheric dark ambient sound they have going on. They diminished that in their latter albums which is kind of disappointing.
