Listen to Agraph - Equal
anything similar to this?
Slowcore/ambient/post-rock things like Zelienople, early Hood albums, (sort of) Talk Talk
Can someone recommend simple, catchy, fast guitar based albums/bands like pic related. Stuff similar to the Ramones but more interesting, early Rolling Stones, Wire, Flipper, that kinda thing.

for sounding similar to specific artists:
black moth super rainbow (early stuff for boards of canada style stuff and their later stuff for com truise sounding synths)
casino versus japan (more ambient boc tones on his best albums)
bibio (early stuff sounds like boc with acoustic guitar, his post-warp signing releases sound a lot different but are even better and melodically feel very boards-ey at points)
brothomstates (like tri rep and lp5 combined, somewhat metallic feel)
arovane (like if early autechre continued from that style rather than going crazy fucked up in the second half of their discography)
ilkae (great lo-fi idm artist, some influence from autechre)
proem (has some traces of autechre with lots of bit crushing, would rec the album negativ)
the tuss, eod, james monolith (similar to syro, the tuss is/was rdj's pseudonym for his proto-syro stuff so definitely check it out if you haven't)
wisp (takes influence from a lot of the artists on your chart, started out boards-ey and ended up acid breakcore. check out the album the shimmering hour as it's his best)
vhs head (like an inbetween of com truise and replica, music is made entirely of 80s ad samples)
artists i just really recommend:
bogdan raczynski (beautiful lofi dnb-influenced breakcore with multilingual vocals, though his one folktronica album is probably his best. was signed to rephlex, aphex twin's label)
clark (really great shit, almost could be described as post-idm. check out the albums body riddle (his best), iradelphic, totems flare (his worst IMO but a lot of people love it) and his self titled album (a good starting place))
manitoba/caribou (a variety of styles that mostly incorporate acoustic guitar)
labels to check out:
rephlex
skam
merck
inpuj
planet mu
and probably a lot more i'm forgetting
will update with any more stuff i think of, enjoy this shit anon

oh yeah, add the seven fields of aphelion to that list as an artist similar to boards of canada, she's the former synth player for black moth super rainbow and her one album has some pretty boc vibes.

first harsh noise album that made any sense to me. Any other good ones? I've already listened to Pulse Demon and Romance by Hijokaidan. I'm in a noise/power electronics mood

if I wanted chillwave I would have asked for chillwave, I do like that stuff though, so thanks for reminding me that I should re-listen to it. Also, I think people forget, but the earliest chillwave was slowed down samples 80s pop as well, just handled differently. They are musical cousins but not what I meant... I was thinking something more... electronic.. something that sounds like it came from another universe but has that same sort of dream like quality.

The chart might seem misleading but I am pretty picky, mostly about voice. The voice has to be just right for my ears or it can make or break a band for me. I don't know why.
SOMEONE REC ME A DESIGN, AESTHETIC, 3D ALBUM POP-NOISE-AMBIENT FILLED
>>61615910
not with that attitude mister
I have 10 freeleech tokens left.
I need some good classical recordings.
I like Dvorak's Symphony no. 9 that I heard talked about on a japanimation and heard an excerpt of in a Demon Burger song.
I also don't know much about Classical.
I like the psychedelic from BRONCHO and Tame Impala, but also the punk/hard rock feel from Screaming Females & the pop-punky emo sound from Modern Baseball and the V album.
Idk these are my fav albums from the past few years, sorry if it's a clusterfuck
