>What kind of music do you listen to, anon?
>ew what is that?
>It's just noise
>turn that shit off
Is your musical taste not diverse enough that you have no favorite albums that would appeal to the average person?

this
OP a plen

Some people don't listen to Bowie
when does this ever happen unless you're a prick that just listens to noise and shit to seem obscure
I like how the worst review my favourite album has gotten when I play it at parties is
>"This is pretty good. After this song lets put on something more dance-able"
>they're trying really hard to be polite
>haha im not a fan anon hahaha
>it's obvious that they're actually trying hard to make it look like they're forcing back disgust
>>61606063
>Only two musical options are noise and David Bowie
try again friend
>>61606216
The point is that everybody likes Bowie, so there's no risk in putting it on for other people.
>>61606216
>thinking this is literally what he said
>>61605901
>in the car withy sister
>put on pic related since I didn't have any pleb friendly music other than radiohead and I already knew for a fact she wouldn't care for 'random computer noises'
>"what even is this anon? this guy's voice is giving me a headache, it sounds like garbage."
>later figure out that she literally can't listen to vocals/melodies with reverb or else she thinks it's shit and 'get a headache'
>>61606290
I've put on Bowie in the car and have people literally say "I don't like this"
>>61606330
is she cute?
>>61606341
I don't consider people like that to be real people
>>61606341
>playing any Bowie around normies that isn't Ziggy Stardust
>>61606348
Platonic cute or fuckable cute? I'd go with the former considering she's a bit young.

my post was a story relevant to the thread so I'm not sure why you're redirecting me
the other post deserves it tho
>>61606372
I've gotten that response from Ziggy and Heroes songs
>>61606419
>I've gotten that response from Ziggy and Heroes songs
>>61605901
This never happens.
I've played Free Jazz, Free Improvisation, Krautrock and other things to normies and they never told me it was bad or I should turn it off.
>tfw your gf find your tibetan throat-singing playlist
>>61606104
Literally this
>>61605901
the problem is them and not you
grow a thick shell and learn to forgive and forget about shitty people
>>61606025
that's a pointless and indefensible value judgement
>>61606511
If OP is playing noise-whaterthefuck music around people asking about his music taste, that's a clear sign he's lacking social intelligence.
>>61606330
Almost the same deal with my sister. I showed her Tomboy and midway through the album she wanted to change.
She likes PBVSGR though.

>midway
You have it a bit better desu, I didn't really mention the fact that mine only made it a third of the way through the first two songs, and when I showed her Boys Latin another time she wanted me to turn it off and then put on fucking Melanie Martinez. Having a sibling that can actually appreciate any music other than the most basic top40 style pop would be pretty nice.
>listening to The Dismemberment Plan - Change
>brother and his girlfriend come over when Superpowers comes on
>she asked me to turn down my emo music
>wtf
>2 minutes later they blasted https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFnZeopsqos
over the speakers
>proceed to do this for the next 5 hours
Most music I listen to is pretty accessible and at least some of my friends would like it in the right situation.
I'm just really bad at judging what people want to listen to in a certain situation, I guess you would call it pretty autistic on here.
I've actually tried to make a playlist before that I could play when someone asked me to put on music but I always digress and end up deleting it because I realize I've included tons of stuff people probably don't want to listen to.
fuck, typing that out, I do seem pretty autistic...
